Ghanaian Kumawood actor Abraham Kofi Davis, known by his stage name Salinko, has shared the emotional journey he experienced following his marriage breakdown with his ex-wife, Nancy Owusu.
At his wedding on November 9, 2024, in Accra, Salinko spoke candidly about the challenges he faced after his divorce, explaining that he had only God to turn to during this difficult period.
“When my marriage ended, I was dealing with a lot. I entered marriage already financially struggling, and I also lost my father. I had no one to confide in but God,” he shared.
At that time, he was also exploring relationships with three women, including Lydia Arthur, who is now his wife. “I was talking to three women about possibly starting a relationship. One day, as I looked through my phone, it hit me that my marriage with Nancy had truly ended, and she had left without understanding what I went through.”
Salinko eventually reached out to Lydia with the help of a friend. He recalled that whenever he confided in her, he felt relieved. After a year of getting to know each other, they officially started dating.
On November 9, 2024, Salinko married Lydia Arthur in a private ceremony at Ascension Methodist Church in Accra. Fellow Kumawood stars, including Matilda Asare, Don Little, and Big Akwes, joined in celebrating the occasion. Popular gospel musician Piesie Esther also attended, delivering a spirited performance that thrilled the crowd.
