Microsoft has launched a discless version of its Xbox Series X console, featuring the same white design as the smaller Xbox Series S.

The main difference from the original black Xbox Series X is the absence of a disc drive in this white variant, with no option to add one. Priced at $449.99, this version is geared toward players content with digital games or Xbox Game Pass titles.

The rear of the console retains the same ports, including two USB-A ports, a HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, and a storage expansion slot. At the front, there’s a single USB-A port and a button for connecting controllers. The white color matches the “robot white” design of the Xbox Series S.

Additionally, Microsoft is releasing a 1TB Xbox Series S for $349.99 in white for the holiday season, and a special edition 2TB “Galaxy Black” Xbox Series X for $599.99. Rumors suggest potential upgrades to the console’s cooling system, but teardowns are awaited to confirm any internal changes.
