Reggae and Dancehall artist Livingstone Etse Satekla, widely known as Stonebwoy, recently opened up about dealing with online criticism, emphasizing that “only successful people get attacked.” The Afro-Dancehall star addressed the criticism he frequently faces, particularly from fellow artist and “Ayoo” hitmaker Shatta Wale, who often directs insults his way. The two artists have yet to mend their differences and do not enjoy a friendly relationship.
In an appearance on Onua Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown on November 3, 2024, Stonebwoy shared his approach to handling negativity by choosing to ignore it and stay focused on his career. “When I’m attacked as a musician, I simply ignore and concentrate on the goal. I pray for divine wisdom to know when to speak and when to stay silent. Only ripe fruit gets picked,” he stated.
When asked to rate his outfit in the interview, Stonebwoy confidently responded, “We go for 100, not 10.” He described his attire in detail, mentioning his designer pieces: a chrome Balenciaga hoodie, clothing from Flannel Homme, Gucci items, and jewelry from Just Frost London, where notable stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake, Patoranking, Adebayor, and other athletes shop.
